Make the journey clear.
Shape user flows and screen layouts around the tasks people need to complete.
We design and build native Android and iOS apps, business tools, and cloud services that work together. Thoughtfully engineered. Built for the real world.
Let’s build your next product ↗Meet Doora. Our ongoing journey to bring local commerce, business operations, and delivery together.
Inside the Doora project ↗

DooraTeams supports the people running day-to-day service. Staff can browse the menu, add items to a table, and prepare an order for the kitchen.
This actual demo home screen brings restaurant status, online order stages, and dine-in orders into one overview.

An order is only the beginning.
Products need to be available. Teams need to coordinate. Drivers need the right information. Operations need a clear view. Our work on Doora connects these moving parts through focused applications and shared backend services.
Food, retail, and DooraMart ordering with product selection, carts, checkout, scheduled orders, and order history.
One focused requirement or a connected product: we bring hands-on development experience to the work you need done.
We use Figma to shape app experiences, from user flows and screen layouts to reusable interface components. Our design-system experience connects visual decisions with implementation across native apps.
Native Android with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose. Native iOS with Swift and SwiftUI. We build interfaces and integrations for each platform, with Kotlin Multiplatform supporting shared business logic where it fits.
APIs and business logic that keep users, products, orders, and payments connected. We build the services behind your application and integrate with the systems you use.
SQL and NoSQL experience with PostgreSQL and Cloud Firestore. We design data models, implement transactional workflows, and connect databases to the applications and services that use them.
Practical interfaces for managing products, stock, orders, staff, approvals, and support. Built around the workflows your team follows every day, including desktop management applications.
Google Cloud backend deployment and Firebase integration for application data and notifications. We help set up environments and maintain the services your product depends on.
Software keeps evolving. We investigate bugs, extend features, improve interfaces, and support testing and release preparation for the next version.
Understand how your product is used and how your business is performing. We bring together event tracking, SQL analysis, and Looker dashboards to make data useful for product and operations teams.
Build confidence in important workflows with automated tests, integration checks, and app release validation. Our Doora experience spans business logic, Android navigation, backend services, and Firestore emulator tests.
Take software from source code to a controlled release. We work with Cloud Build, Docker, and Cloud Run for backend delivery, alongside Android and iOS app store releases and Windows and macOS desktop packaging.
Connect user identity, app verification, and authorization across mobile apps and backend services. Our experience includes Firebase Authentication, App Check integration, and server-side role and business access checks.
We bring UI/UX design, Figma experience, and app development together. The goal is a product that feels coherent as screens, features, and platforms grow.
Shape user flows and screen layouts around the tasks people need to complete.
Use Figma to communicate interface ideas, refine layouts, and organize reusable design components.
Define colours, typography, spacing, sizing, and corner radii alongside reusable app components.
Apply shared design foundations through native UI components and platform-appropriate interactions.
In practice: Doora. Our app code includes shared design properties and reusable Compose components, alongside iOS design-system foundations for colours, fonts, sizing, and text fields.
We work with product analytics, BigQuery, and Looker to help teams understand usage, explore business data, and communicate performance through useful reports.
Instrument application events and relevant properties to understand how people use features and move through important workflows.
Use SQL and BigQuery to explore data, define reporting metrics, and prepare datasets for business and operational analysis.
Bring metrics together in Looker dashboards and reports, with clear visualizations shaped around the questions your team needs to answer.
Native Android and iOS development is at the heart of our work. Doora brings that expertise together with shared logic, web and desktop applications, and cloud backend services.
Native Android apps built with Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, from customer experiences to business and delivery workflows.
Applied across Doora’s customer, business, team, driver, and operations apps.
Native iOS apps built with Swift and SwiftUI, with interfaces and interactions shaped for Apple platforms.
Applied in Doora’s native iOS customer experience.
Our work on Doora spans PostgreSQL and Cloud Firestore. We design around how data is related, read, updated, and shared across applications—choosing the database approach to fit the workflow.
Structured data, clear relationships, and transactional updates for business applications.
Product catalogues, collections, categories, and deals use relational models, including references between tables and JSONB fields.
Document-based data and real-time application updates across connected experiences.
Cart updates, business-team assignments, and operational workflows use Firestore transactions and batched writes.
We work across SQL and NoSQL systems, defining which service owns each write and how other applications receive updates. Doora gives us practical experience connecting PostgreSQL, Firestore, backend APIs, and Pub/Sub events.
We design access around three questions: who is using the product, whether requests come from an expected app, and what that user is allowed to do. Each layer has a distinct role in the architecture.
Integrate sign-in and account flows with backend ID-token verification. Use verified identity and account status as the foundation for protected application requests.
Integrate app attestation and backend token verification, validate release builds, and monitor results to prepare a staged enforcement rollout.
Enforce permissions in backend services using verified roles, account status, and business or regional assignments. Scope access to the work each user is responsible for.
In practice: Doora. Our work includes Firebase ID-token verification, App Check integration across five Android apps with backend verification and monitoring, and role-based authorization for operations and business workflows.
Discuss your access requirements ↗Connected products need checks at more than one layer. We combine focused automated tests with workflow validation to catch regressions as applications and services evolve.
Unit and regression tests for carts, currency calculations, checkout rounding, scheduling, and driver eligibility.
Android instrumentation tests for notification deep links, navigation, repeated actions, and app startup scenarios.
Backend and Firestore emulator tests for assignments, lifecycle changes, validation, and related data updates.
Release tooling checks and internal testing builds support validation before an application update reaches users.
In practice: Doora. Our repositories include Kotlin/JUnit tests, Android instrumented tests, Firestore emulator integration tests, and Python tests for release tooling. We choose checks around the workflows and risks that matter to each product.
Our work extends beyond application code. We connect automated builds, container delivery, release checks, and mobile and desktop release preparation so teams can maintain a repeatable path to each release.
Define repeatable build steps, connect validation to release workflows, and produce versioned artifacts for deployment.
Package backend services as Docker images, manage images in Artifact Registry, and deploy Cloud Run revisions with readiness checks and controlled traffic changes.
Prepare Android and iOS store releases alongside Windows and macOS desktop packages. Our work covers build versioning, signing configuration, testing builds, release notes, and Windows MSI/EXE and macOS DMG packaging with Compose Desktop.
We use Git and GitHub to manage changes, collaborate through branches and pull requests, and review code. GitHub Actions supports automated checks, builds, and release workflows alongside our cloud deployment tools.
We use tools such as GitHub Copilot to assist coding, refactoring, documentation, and test preparation. Our engineers review and validate the results, with ownership of architecture, security, and quality.
In practice: Doora. Our delivery workflows include Cloud Build configurations, Dockerized backend services, Cloud Run rollouts, and Android release tooling. Build and deployment checks help us validate changes before moving to the next release stage.
